Welcome to a place where environment and comfort come together to offer you an exceptional green tourism experience in France! Certified by theEuropean Ecolabel, the residence allows its visitors to enjoy nature-friendly holidays all year round!
→ Our actions
1 - Ecological and rational energy management
- Renewable energy: our residence obtains 100% of its electricity from a green electricity supplier: Primeo.
- Energy efficiency and thermal regulation: as the 25 gîtes are semi-buried, the ambient temperature regulates itself as the seasons go by. Ceiling fans are also available to tenants on very hot days.
The 25 gîtes and the communal area are also equipped with low-energy lighting systems. And on the snack side, the crockery used is washable. During the summer season or when we receive groups, we limit the use of plastic and cardboard. - The black swimming pool liner allows us to heat the water naturally. The aim is to stop using the heat pump installed when the residence was built.
2.waste reduction and management
- Selective sorting: in our offices, as in the gîtes, people are encouraged to sort their waste. Special containers are installed at the entrance to the residence. They enable our customers to recycle their household waste and cardboard independently.
- Composting: we have set up a system to reduce the amount of organic waste we produce. Two compost bins are available to our guests. They can then compost their bio-bins on their own.
- Training: every year, our team attends a workshop to raise awareness of waste sorting and management with an instructor from the SIRTOM.
3. furniture and fittings
- Concept of "seeing without being seen": in addition to the fact that our gîtes are temperature-controlled, they are also oriented towards the Correze valleys and not towards neighbouring gîtes. Every guest has the impression of having the site and this view to themselves...
- Second-hand furniture: many of the pieces of furniture in the Gaillarde grocery shop and snack bar have been found and refurbished by our team.

Environmentally-friendly gîtes
As well as being original, each of our gîtes respects the nature that surrounds it. As the seasons change, they adapt to the light and temperature outside thanks to their thermoregulation system. In Corrèze and Les Collines in particular, eco-friendly holidays are easy! Choosing environmentally-friendly accommodation, hiking in the forest and eating a mique-petit-salé will make you a responsible holidaymaker!
